CHALLENGES OF 2025
EXPLORE THE INSPIRING
How better to learn about polymer clay and dive deep into unexplored waters than with a creative challenge? Exclusively for our members, each month we create unique pieces of art that celebrate carefully selected themes.
JANUARY CHALLENGE
OCEAN BREEZE
The new year began with a refreshing breeze, and we are truly amazed by the talent and creativity of our members. Their fascination with the ocean theme for the January Challenge came to life through stunning polymer clay artworks, each showcasing unique techniques and perspectives. Thank you!
This time, Eduardo Farillo won seven sets of brand-new cutters designed by Lucy and Polymer Week team.

FEBRUARY CHALLENGE
THE LESS YOU ADD, THE MORE IT SPEAKS
Another month has passed, and we were thrilled to see how our members embraced the challenge: "The Less You Add, the More It Speaks." Enjoy the recording of our latest meeting and get inspired by the incredible creative results that celebrated simplicity, minimalism, and the beauty of pure elements.
Congratulations to Eileen La Russo, who won a free ticket to Polymer Weekend Online! We're constantly inspired by the creativity, talent, and dedication of our amazing community.

MARCH CHALLENGE
SKETCHES & PROTOTYPES
In March, we celebrated not just the final creations, but the often unseen parts of the creative journey — the rough sketches, early prototypes, and evolving ideas that lead to the finished pieces.
Enjoy the recording of our members' meeting, where authors shared insights into each artist’s process, discussed the struggles and joys of their work. And, of course, where we announced the winners! Congratulations to our three winners, with Barbara Briggs taking home three online classes from the PW Store.

APRIL CHALLENGE
YOUR TRUE SELF
Your True Self challenge, was a creative journey into honesty, vulnerability, and self-expression through polymer clay. We met together to explore individual entries, asked the big questions, and enjoyed a rich conversation filled with sharing, reflection, and mutual inspiration.
Valeria Krafčíková from Slovakia won the first place with a sculptural piece with lot of meaning behind. We loved the symbolism—the cycle of life, the light ball representing her energy—and the way she “painted” with polymer clay inside the circle is simply amazing.

MAY CHALLENGE
THE FIRST SPARK
May’s challenge, The First Spark, encouraged members to look back and reflect on the feelings, memories, and influences they experienced in the early stages of their journey with polymer clay.
Congratulations to Anna Ševecová from Slovakia, who has won a box full of surprises and polymer clay goodies! We’re truly amazed by how far she’s come in such a short time. Since trying polymer clay for the first time last summer, she’s discovered a new passion and developed impressive skills along the way.

JUNE CHALLENGE
WHISPERS OF FOLKLORE
The June challenge truly resonated with our attendees, and we gathered to celebrate 20 incredible entries inspired by folklore—the heartbeat of culture, the stories, symbols, and traditions passed down through generations. Whether it was a legendary creature, a traditional fabric, a symbolic pattern, or a mythical tale, everyone let their hands shape the spirit of their culture.
Congratulations to our three winners, and to Eileen La Russo, whose artwork will be showcased in Polymer Week Magazine.

SUMMER CHALLENGE
MYSTERY BOX
Over 25 Society members got their hands on the special Mystery Boxes we shipped across the world. Each participant embraced the challenge of experimenting with the materials and equipment inside, while avoiding the tools and supplies they usually rely on.
Big congratulations to Sarah Curran-Wertz for her vibrant painting created with softened clay and individual layers of “brush strokes.” Sarah has won a free ticket to our upcoming physical/online event, valued at 490 EUR.
